Welcome to Jeannie Johnsons's Website (and J G Goodhind)

Welcome and Happy New Year. This year promises to be a good one for me. The last Honey Driver novel has been finished and delivered to the publishers. For those of you who have only read the novels I write as Jeannie Johnson, those I write as J G Goodhind are crime mysteries. Honey Driver is a dipsy middle-aged bird who's got herself appointed as Crime Liaison Officer between Bath Hotel Association and the police. For those of you who know the City of Bath, you'll know it's great dependence on the tourist trade - hence the job. Honey is also single with an overbearing mother and a clever daughter. She also collects antique underwear. Think AbFab mixed with murder and you've got the picture.

The last Jeannie Johnson, Bitter Harvest, was published in August. It's a departure from the usual saga being more like Dallas or Dynasty, and wine industry rather than oil. The head of the family is very JR but forgets that his daughter is a chip off the old block and may turn out to be his greatest adversary.

Anyway, there's another Jeannie Johnson in the pipeline and it's very bonkbuster - more Jackie Collins than Jilly Cooper and with plenty of sun, sea and everything that goes with it.

That's the diary entry for now. I've decided to change this intro page to a diary entry. I'm more likely to keep it up to date than just adding new books. I value my readers, especially those who take the trouble to write to me.
